This crystal is a variation of Sodalite and this high grade quality of blue-green natural color is hard to find. There's also shiny golden Pyrite inclusions in this rare darker blue Hackmanite.

WHY IS THIS STONE SPECIAL?

Hackmanite is a rare sulfur-bearing variety of sodalite, and it is one of the few minerals in the world that shows tenebrescence, a reversible photochromic effect. The beads darken in sunlight and slowly return to their original color in the dark, a change you can repeat again and again. Under black UV light, some beads reveal a subtle soft orange-pink fluorescent patches.

This is A grade material in a dark blue-green that is genuinely hard to source. Most hackmanite is pale or violet, so a deep teal specimen like this is a rare find.
