Included are various photographs of this pendant:

  • The crystal intensifying to a darker and brighter pink when exposed to sunlight

  • Displayed indoors under LED lighting

  • Fluorescing under a blacklight UV flashlight

Please Note: The Tugtupite crystal appears lighter when stored in a box and is not exposed to UV light or sunlight, resembling a raspberry pink sorbet. Upon exposure, it darkens and fades gradually.

This rare crystal is a remarkable addition to any jewelry collection and is destined to become a treasured family heirloom due to its uniqueness.

For millennia, Tugtupite has been worn by Greenlandic Inuits and is regarded as a mineral aphrodisiac of love. This mineral is particularly difficult to acquire, as much of the ground in Greenland remains frozen for the majority of the year. Composed of a rare beryllium aluminum tectosilicate, Tugtupite's rarity adds to its allure.

Caution: Be wary of counterfeit Tugtupite that has recently emerged in the market, often made from synthetic composites of other materials. Genuine natural Tugtupite does not exhibit an overly bright fluorescent pink under standard indoor lighting; rather, it appears as a lighter bubblegum pink before exposure to UV light. Unlike fake Tugtupite, authentic specimens will darken in color when exposed to sunlight. Only a few crystals possess this extraordinary naturally occurring phenomenon.
